Hi she, no, you will never lose your savings, even if you haven’t paid for many years. If your Pag-ibig no. was given to you many years ago, check if that’s your MID by registering again online. Then go to your Pag-ibig branch with your proof of unemployment/separation/resignation and start paying as Voluntary. You can also inquire about your total contributions. For the next payments, you can pay at Bayad Center or thru GCash.

Hi Rodolfo, what do you mean down payment? Down payment for a house and lot? Or contributions to Pag-ibig? If you paid contributions to Pag-ibig, your contributions are with Pag-ibig in your name, even if you discontinued. You can get these back when you turn 60 years old. You can continue paying contributions so you can save more. First, register and get your Pag-ibig MID at pagibigfund.gov.ph.

Hi Robeliza, the minimum monthly contribution is 200 pesos. You can contribute more, if you like. Make your first payment at the Pag-ibig branch nearest your residence, then later on you can pay at Bayad Center or SM Business Center.

Hi, alam ko po na may pagibig ako dhil nakahingi ako ng statement sa HDMF sa dati kong company, then hiningi yon nung bagong nilipatan ko na company, at binabawasan ako sa sweldo so ibig sbaihin ay nalalagyan iyon kahit papano. nung 2013 lumipat ako sa ibang bansa, isang tan ko ng hindi nalalagyan iyon, at hindi ko alam o nakuha ang pagibig MID number ko. ang nasaakin lang ay yung form ng HDMF na may HDMF number at kung magkano ang nacntribute ko.. then nagregister ako ng bago sa online, plano kong icontinue yung sa date dahil alam ko malaki yung naipon dn, anong advise ang maipapayo mo. salamat/////

The maximum hosuing loan amount that can be granted to any member is only PhP 3,000,000. So that means if the property you are considering is priced more than PhP 3M, you need to come up with some form of up-front payment (or equity) to settle the price difference virus the loan amount. Or, you may opt for another financial institution. Please refer to the Mortgage Loan Fundamentals.

Hi Pol, yes, you can use an affidavit, or barangay certification, or certification from your farmers’ coop or association that you’re earning income from your backyard piggery and your farm.

Hi jonny, I think your 1,200 is with Pag-ibig; there’s just some glitch with your record. Keep your OEC receipts so you can clear up with Pag-ibig when you’re back here. Or you can email Pag-ibig (Subject: OFW Program)
publicaffairs@pagibigfund.gov.ph and request your 2 payments of 600 pesos each to be credited to your record. You can scan or picture your receipts and attach them to your email. Include your Pag-ibig MID.

Hi Maricel, yes you can continue saving as Voluntary even if you’re relying on remittances. Do you already have your Pag-ibig MID no.? If none yet, go to pagibigfund.gov.ph and register to get your MID. Then go to your Pag-ibig branch with your ID and make your first payment there. For your next payments, you can pay at Bayad Center.
